Object and purpose of research. The object of this study is the state of the art and the prospect of composites
in foreign submarine shipbuilding. The purpose of this paper is to justify the prospects of composite materials in submarine
shipbuilding, as well as to describe various technological and design solutions adopted in superstructures, sails, bow domes, tail
cones and other structural elements of foreign submarines where composites are used.
